Clean Apple Pie

Ingredients:Crust:
- 2 cups ground oatmeal

-1/2 tsp unrefined sea salt

-2 tbsp macdamian nut oil

-1 whole egg

-Zest of 1 lemon

Pie Filling:
-3 tbsp ground oatmeal

-3 tbsp lemon juice

-1 tbsp vanilla extract

-1 tbsp maple extract


-2 tbsp ground cinnamon

-2 tbsp apple pie spice (or pumpkin pie spice)

-1/3 cup honey

- 10 drops vanilla liquid stevia

-3.5 lbs tart crisp baking apples


Directions:
-Preheat oven to 350
-Mix almond flour and sea salt in blender, then add wet ingriedients and lemon zest and blend until ball of dough is formed
-Press into a 9' pie plate cover with damp cloth and set aside
-Peel, core and slice apples
-Add reminaing pie filling ingriedients to apples and throughly coat each slice
-Pour mixture into pie crust
-Bake 45-55 minutes until crust is golden brown and mixture is bubbling on top
-Remove and let cool for at least an hour prior to serving
